Frank Pietronigro and Document 34 an artifact that resulted from his creating the first microgravity ‘drift painting’ during Research Project Number 33: Investigating the Creative Process in a Microgravity Environment that was flown aboard NASA’s KC135 Turbojet and resulted from a collaboration Frank Pietronigro instigated with the California Space Grant Consortium, the Texas Space Grant Program, and the San Francisco Art Institute with this relationship serving as one of Frank Pietronigro’s legacies.
